This cute cuddly cake was made (with lots of love) to celebrate my cousin’s baby shower! My mom and sister baked the cakes and helped decorate the cupcakes! For the bear, we used a bear-shaped cake pan, like this one (link), in which the left and right sides were baked separately. Once they were baked and cooled, we joined the two sides of the cake with icing, covered the bear with a sugary glaze, and added the fondant details and baby accessories. I decorated the base of the cake with bright flowers and lots of green to add a springtime theme- for the new and wonderful beginnings that it brings! 🙂
